Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 2026.

1. About the service

Poeta: Write Yourself is a public platform for publishing poetry anonymously. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.

Details on who runs this project and how to reach us are on the Contact page.

2. Who can use Poeta

The service is intended for people aged 16 or older. If you are under 16, you may only use Poeta with the consent of a parent or guardian.

3. User content

You are responsible for the content you publish. Do not post texts that infringe copyright, incite hatred or violence, or are otherwise unlawful. By publishing, you confirm that you have the right to share that content.

Published poems are public and visible to everyone. You keep the copyright to your text, but you grant us the right to display it within the platform. Detailed rules on copyright, licensing, and reporting infringement are on the Copyright page, which is an integral part of these terms.

4. Moderation

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms, without prior notice. Readers can report content they find concerning directly from a poem's page. A detailed list of disallowed content and the reporting process are on the Content Policy page.

5. No warranties

The service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability nor the accuracy of the AI analysis of poems, which is informational in nature.

6. Governing law

These terms are governed by Croatian law. If you are a consumer residing in another EU member state, the protection granted to you by the mandatory law of that state remains available to you regardless of this clause.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means acceptance of the new terms.
